A: We include a wooden stand for your candle! Here are some tips for optimal burning:
- Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface and always use the included wooden stand.
- Trim the wick to 5 mm before each lighting. This prevents smoking and ensures an even burn.
- Keep the wick centred to prevent tunnelling (uneven wax melting).
- Burn for at least 2 hours on the first burn, but no longer than 4 hours at a time. This allows for a complete melt pool and prevents tunnelling.
- Avoid burning your candle down. Stop burning when about ½ inch of wax remains to preserve the container.
Q: Are there any safety precautions I should take when burning candles?
A: Absolutely! Candle safety is essential. Here are some key points:
- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish it before leaving the room or going to sleep.
